The clients, parents of two young children in Quezon City, needed a shared bedroom that could hold both a play zone and a calm sleep environment. It had to be durable enough for daily use, yet visually cohesive with the rest of the home. Storage, a study corner, and room for pets were early requirements.

A garden room for growing up. Sage green grounds the space in nature while staying gender-neutral for a shared sibling room. Soft geometry, circles, curves, and rounded edges, softens a compact 40 sqm footprint.

To design a bedroom that matures with the children, flexible enough for solo play today and independent study tomorrow, built from materials that age well under daily wear.

The daybed-sofa hybrid replaced twin beds to free up floor area for play. A modular circular wall system was developed as both storage and display, doubling as a soft focal point above the headboard. Furniture layout was tested against sightlines to the study desk and window, ensuring natural light reaches both work and rest zones.

Built-in millwork was fabricated off-site and installed to tight tolerances against the curved wall geometry. Sage-green finishes were matched and applied on-site; oak flooring was sequenced last to protect against construction damage. The room was delivered turnkey, furnished, styled, and move-in ready.
