Pre-Design

In this initial phase, we work closely with clients to assess and establish a clear foundation for the project. Services include site selection, environmental analysis, community engagement, feasibility studies, programming, and preliminary cost analysis. Pre-design helps clients understand the project’s feasibility and goals, ensuring alignment from the outset.

SD

Schematic Design

In the Schematic Design phase, we explore and present major design concepts, often through multiple schemes for consideration. This phase includes developing foundational drawings, such as site plans, floor plans, elevations, and sections, to support cost estimation. Clients are provided with perspectives, renderings, and models, allowing them to visualize and refine the project through ongoing feedback and approval.

Architectural Interiors

This phase focuses on the design and detailing of interior spaces, creating a cohesive and functional environment that complements the overall architectural vision. We collaborate on selecting materials, finishes, fixtures, and furniture, ensuring that all interior elements align with the project’s design intent, function, and aesthetic goals.

DD

Design Development

Building upon the Schematic Design, this phase involves refining all aspects of the design with greater precision. We enhance the drawings and specifications, detailing elements like structural systems, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plans, and specifying materials. This level of detail provides a solid basis for accurate cost estimation and is critical for coordination with consultants and contractors.

GB

Green Building

ABCubed incorporates sustainable design principles to enhance environmental performance and reduce resource consumption. Our Green Building services focus on energy efficiency, water conservation, sustainable material selection, and improved indoor environmental quality. We help clients achieve eco-friendly certifications and integrate green technologies that align with sustainability goals, creating buildings that benefit occupants and the environment alike.

CD

Construction Documents

In this phase, we produce the full set of technical drawings and specifications required to obtain building permits and to guide the construction process. These documents include highly detailed plans, sections, elevations, and technical specifications, ensuring that every aspect of the design is clearly communicated to contractors and regulatory bodies for accurate implementation.

GC

General Construction

ABCubed provides or collaborates with licensed general contractors & sub-contractors to oversee the actual construction of the project. Our services during this phase include scheduling, managing subcontractors, coordinating material procurement, and monitoring the construction process to ensure adherence to the design, quality standards, and timelines.

CA

Construction Administration

During construction, we offer Construction Administration services to monitor and support the project on-site. Our team conducts site visits, reviews contractor work, addresses any design-related questions, and oversees project quality control. We serve as a liaison between the client and contractor to help ensure the project is built as designed, addressing any issues as they arise.

 

PC

Post Construction

After construction is completed, our Post-Construction services include a final review to ensure all aspects of the project meet the design intent and quality standards. We provide support with punch-list items, conduct a handover to familiarize the client with the building systems, and assist with any necessary adjustments. This phase ensures the project is fully ready for occupancy and that the client is supported in their new space.

BM

Building Maintenance / Operation

ABCubed extends its support beyond project completion with Building Maintenance & Operation services. We provide guidance and resources for the ongoing upkeep and efficient operation of the building, ensuring its longevity and functionality. This includes regular inspections, maintenance planning, troubleshooting of building systems, and recommendations for improvements to optimize performance and sustainability over time. This phase supports clients in preserving the value and quality of their investment.
